
Cindy Eschliman is a senior from Hutchinson, KS majoring in Philosophy, Religion, and Psychology. She is a member of the Presbyterian Church USA. Some of her hobbies include knitting, quilting, cooking and participating in Christian organizations on campus. She plans to attend seminary next fall for a Master of Divinity and Master of Social Work.
Dan Kramer is a senior from Columbus, NE majoring in Biology with minors in Christian Ministry and Chemistry. Dan is currently the student association president. He is a member of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. His hobbies include playing basketball and tennis, watching the Jaguars and listening to jazz. His future aspiration is to be a family practice doctor.
Annatasia Mullen is a senior from Des Moines, IA with a double major in Religion and Media Production with an emphasis in New Media and Public Relations/Advertising. She is a member of the United Methodist Church. Some of her interests include sunshine, photography, riding her bike, and drinking tea.
Ross Whiston is a senior from Lincoln, NE majoring in Music Education with a minor in Christian Ministries. He is a member of the Presbyterian Church and his hobbies include singing and writing songs, fly-fishing, camping, sports and traveling.
Kathryn Cunningham is a junior studying Psychology with minors in Sociology and Christian Ministries. She was raised in Hastings, Neb., and her family now lives in Norfolk, Nebraska. Her service activities include Hastings College Child Defenders and Students against Hunger and Homelessness.
James Duin is a junior from Gretna, NE majoring in Physics with a minor in Christian Ministries. He is a member of the Lutheran Church and his interests include problem solving, mathematics, and Christ centered contemplation.
Bailey Eldredge is a junior from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is majoring in Psychology, with minors in Christian Ministry and Women and Gender Studies. She is a member of the Catholic Church. She works with many social justice groups on campus. She is also very passionate about suicide awareness. She plans on attending graduate school and working as a counselor.
Rachel Lee is a junior from Golden, Colorado. She is a member of the Catholic Church and is double majoring in English and Political Science with a minor in Christian Ministry. Rachel plans to go to Law School with the goal of focusing on mostly pro-bono work to benefit lower income families. Her hobbies include running cross-country and track, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
Jenny Sharrick is a junior from Hastings, NE majoring in Biopsychology. She is involved with Crimson Spirit Dance Team, PHIVE-O (a peer education group focusing on AIDS advocacy and awareness) and many other campus organizations. She feels called to one day become a pediatric neurologist
Kaitlin Wilson is a junior, majoring in Psychology with minors in English (with an emphasis in writing) and Christian Ministry. She is a member of the First English Lutheran Church and enjoys listening to music, reading, watching movies, playing games, and bowling. She hopes to one day become a counselor.
Elyse Appelgate is a sophomore from Lakewood, Colorado and is majoring in Communication and minoring in Social Justice through the Christian Ministry program. She hopes to combine her studies in the future as a public relations manager for a nonprofit organization. Elyse enjoys decorating with things that are not intended for decoration, baking, and service trips.
Laura Bonnett is a sophomore from Bellevue, NE majoring in English and Elementary Education and minoring in Christian ministries. After graduating from Hastings College she plans to teach in an unprivileged school and in the Peace Corps. She is involved in various on and off campus activities and likes to read, draw, and to be alone or with people.
Ben Dumas is a sophomore from Castle Rock, CO. His hobbies include longboarding, snowboarding, ultimate frisbee, and listening to music. He is double majoring in Religion and Peace, Justice and Social Change with a minor in Christian Ministry. He works at and attends Grace United Methodist church in Hastings and is involved in a high school and skate ministry through Youth for Christ.
Mark Hewitt is a sophomore Communications major with a minor in Christian Ministry. In his spare time he enjoys playing frisbee, watching the Huskers, eating pizza and procrastinating. He hopes to be a teacher after he graduates.
Meg Smith is a sophomore originally from Fayetteville, NC, but currently living in Moscow Russia. She plans to double major in Art History and Religion. A few of her interests include iconography, graphic design, and philosophy.
Kevin Wright is a sophomore Pre-Medical student hoping to eventually split his time between the developed and undeveloped world through Doctors without Borders as an infectious disease specialist. He is on the cross-country and track teams and enjoys discussions over coffee, learning about most things, and being outdoors.
Rubea Stouppe is a sophomore from Hutchinson, KS double amjoring in International Studies and Peace, Justice, and Social Change. In the future she plans on doing something involving peace and conflict resoluation in the Middle East. Some of her interests include painting, dancing, good food, good books and discussions over coffee.
Paige Beezley is a freshman Biology major originally from Hastings, NE. She came to Hastings College because of the many opportunities the college and the Christian ministry program provide. She is excited to see what she can accomplish.
Ryan Garder is a freshman originally from Blair, NE. He is majoring in Secondary Math Education and minoring in Christian Ministry. He plays baseball for Hastings College. He later plans to teach high school math and coach.
Emily Johnson is a freshman from Victorville, CA double majoring in Political Science and Peace, Justice and Social Change and minoring in Christian Ministries and Women and Gender Studies. She is a member of the Catholic Church and works with many social justice programs on campus and in the community. She plans on attending law school and hopes to work for an international nonprofit organization or the United Nations as an advocate for women and children's rights.
Makayla Kort is a freshman from Grand Island, NE majoring in Biology with a minor in Christian Ministry. She is a member os St Mary's Catholic Church in Grand Island, NE. She is currently undecided with exactly what she wants to do in Biology, but is leaning towards mircobiology and research work in a lab. Her hobbies include teaching religious education classes, singing, and spending time with family and friends.
