Pursue Your Passion

Join Us!

The Center for Vocation, Faith & Service (CVFS) is a wide reaching program that extends across the Hastings College campus and throughout the Hastings and Grand Island communities. Opportunities for involvement in our work range from international service trips to local congregational programs and everything in between. We sponsor a wide range of events in coordination with the Department of Religion through Dan Deffenbaugh, with Campus Service Learning through Jean Heriot, and with the Chaplain’s office through David McCarthy. These opportunities occur throughout the academic year and are open to anyone. Watch the ‘GRANTS AND OPPORTUNITIES page for chances to benefit from The Center for Vocation, Faith & Service programming.

Joining the Christian Ministry Minor

One part of the Center for Vocation, Faith & Service is an Academic Minor and the community of scholars it creates. This academic minor is open to any and all who feel a calling on their lives for the work of Christian Ministry. If you wish to join, contact Carter Aikin and learn how your passion for faith and service can mesh with your major and future.
