Hastings College takes great pride in our alumni and friends who have distinguished themselves in a number of areas. Annually, the college acknowledges these alumni and their accomplishments through various awards and distinctions.
Pro Rege Society
Membership in the Pro Rege Society is the highest non-academic recognition that Hastings College bestows. Criteria for selection may include, but is not limited to, extraordinary service to Hastings College, significant philanthropic contributions and/or unusual commitment to the college over an extended period of time.
The Outstanding Alumni/Young Alumni Awards are presented to Hastings College alumni who have made significant achievements in their professional or personal life, made a significant contribution to society through personal leadership and service and has demonstrated leadership in the support in the advancement or welfare of Hastings College.
Hastings College Athletic Hall of Fame
The Athletic Hall of Fame honors and preserves the memory of those athletes, teams, coaches and those who have contributed meritorious service to Hastings College and its athletic program. A selection committee -- of administrators and college community members -- names inductees annually during the Athletic Hall of Fame banquet.
The Bronco Award
Established in 1924 by the editors of the Bronco yearbook, the Bronco Award is the highest, non-academic honor Hastings College bestows on a student. The recipient of the Bronco Award is a graduating senior chosen by a secret student-faculty committee which makes its selection based on the results of a campus community voting process. Individuals selected to receive the Bronco Award have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the campus community and constructive collegiate citizenship.
