Dean's List/Alpha Chi
The Dean's List, issued twice during the academic year, includes those students who achieve a 3.7 grade point average or higher in a minimum of 12 hours graded on the traditional A-F scale. Interim Term grades are not used in compiling the Dean's List. Students with grades of Incomplete pending are not eligible for the Dean's List.
The official national scholastic honorary society at Hastings College is Alpha Chi, a local chapter of which was established in 1949. Membership is limited to juniors and seniors who have been on campus at least one year and whose academic records throughout their course of study meet the standards established by the organization and Hastings College. Invited to membership in the society are those students with 85 hours of credit and grade point average of 3.7; and those with 100 hours of credit and a 3.6 grade point average. Students with grades of Incomplete pending are not eligible for Alpha Chi.
