With generous financial support from the Artist Lecture Series Main Committee, Hastings College's Women's History Month Speaker will be Georgiann Davis. Dr. Davis's presentation, “Beyond Male and Female: Intersex, Activism, and Medical Authority,” is scheduled for March 16th at 7:00 p.m. The tentative location is French Memorial Chapel.
A week of intentional service, discussion, and a bit of frivolity all related to the question of what it means to be human.
An opportunity to gather over lunch and enter into conversation around three central questions. What does it mean to be human? What is the universe and how do we fit in? How shall we live our lives? Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to come together from across disciplines to consider just what it means to be human.
