Charity game: Hereos, Hoops, Hope

Event Description: 

Heroes, Hoops, Hope is a charity basketball game featuring former University of Nebraska football players, Hastings community leaders and Anthony Ianni as part of "The Relentless Tour." At halftime, Ianni will share his anti-bullying message that will inspire all to Live Your Dreams. As a child, Anthony was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder, which is on the Autism Spectrum. Doctors and specialists told Anthony’s parents that he would barely graduate from high school and would never graduate from college. Despite bullies, adversity and numerous personal challenges, Anthony never gave up. Not only did he earn his degree from Michigan State in Sociology he is the first known athlete with autism to play Big 10 basketball.
