Women’s and Gender Studies keynote speaker for Women’s History Month this year:

On Thursday, March 2 at 7pm, in French Memorial Chapel, poet Marty McConnell will present, “Conjuring Survival: the role of magic in art, activism, and defusing despair.”

Her presentation will be open to the public and likely of particular interest to those studying communication, art, English, psychology, education, sociology, WGS, and more. She is a powerful performer. She will also be leading a writing workshop while she is here.

HC Cell Phone Film Fest

A night to celebrate the creative work of young filmmakers who submitted films to the fourth annual HC Cell Phone Film Fest. Student films will be screened and winners will be announced, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers. Free and open to the public.
